Houston-Leipzig Sister City Association - Leipzig in Houston Festival
Leipzig in Houston
September 25th through October 2nd
Leipzig in Houston is a festival celebrating both cities’ arts and cultures. The concept arose from “Little Leipzig Week”, founded by former Bach Society Houston director Albert LeDoux in 2010, as a way to honor the city in which J.S. Bach wrote his most important music. Since then, Little Leipzig Week has grown, and in 2016 will begin its first year as a full festival over 10 days, involving 10 organizations with ties to both cities.
